To help celebrate the 35th anniversary of Tetris, Red Bull Mind Gamers and The Tetris Company are teaming up in 2019 to unite puzzle fans and designers.

This weekend, Global Game Jam participants are being challenged to create a game inspired by a real-world toy. Participants who take on this fun challenge are then eligible submit their games to Red Bull Mind Gamers, where the top 5 prototypes will be selected and published for others to enjoy and evaluate. The best rated prototype will win the Grand Prize: a trip to Hawaii to meet the creator of Tetris, Alexey Pajitnov, and the opportunity to show him the winning puzzle design for some valuable feedback!
